A welcome that works in two languages

Immokalee is real to us, not just a name on a map. State Road 29, Lake Trafford Road, and the stretch of Immokalee Road that leads west toward Naples are all part of how we think about the families who call us from there. However you found us, the welcome starts the same way it does for every family: warm, patient, and offered in whichever language is easiest for your family. That has always been true here, for every child who walks in, no matter which road brought them.

Dr. Torres speaks fluent English and Spanish. If your family is more comfortable speaking Spanish, prefiere español is a completely normal thing to say when you call, whether it is your child's very first visit or a routine checkup. Nothing to prepare, nothing to translate ahead of time. The front desk will take it from there, in the language that works best for you.

Your office from Immokalee

Our Naples office is at 1035 Piper Blvd, Suite 103, just off Immokalee Road near I-75. Immokalee Road runs straight between Immokalee and our door, so the directions stay simple no matter which end of town you are starting from: head toward Naples on Immokalee Road, and stay on it the whole way.

Inside, a sixteen-foot whale shark floats above the treatment bay, a blue whale keeps watch over the lobby, and a pirate nook called the S.S. Flossy waits to be boarded. What a visit is like

Every visit starts with a few minutes to look around before anyone is called back. For children under three, the exam is usually a gentle lap exam, with your child on your lap the whole time. Everything is explained in kid words before it happens, and any comfort option is always discussed with you first, never decided without you. If it takes a few extra minutes to feel at ease, that is completely normal, and the pace follows your child, not a clock.

The care available

Checkups every six months keep little problems little, and that rhythm is the center of preventative care: exams, cleanings, growth checks, fluoride, and BPA-free sealants for cavity-prone grooves. Digital X-rays are taken only as needed, never as an automatic step at every visit.

When a tooth needs more than prevention, the same team handles it: tooth-colored fillings, durable crowns, gentle nerve treatments, and extractions when a baby tooth truly has to come out early. Booking, in whichever language works

Booking happens by phone on purpose. Your child's health details stay in a conversation with our front desk, never typed into a website, and new patient forms arrive ahead of time so there is no clipboard scramble on visit day.

When you call, mention anything that helps us prepare: this is a first visit, your child gets nervous in new places, there are sensory sensitivities to plan around, your child has special healthcare needs, you would like to stay in the room, or prefiere español. When to book the first visit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first dental visit by the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth coming in, whichever comes first. If your child is well past that window, there is no penalty for arriving late. We start wherever your child is and build the six-month rhythm from there.
